This issue of Childrens Right in Society is about politics.

The Cover illustration  is made by me, using aquarelle and computer.

I started out thinking of islands, every man is an island.
A lonely child not knowing where to go (the theme).

The first sketch I destroyed by adding water. Started with the next one
and saw that it could be heads. Afraid of destroying this one I only
added shadows. Added a beacon for the hope and light.

Yesterday started with arranging the window at my office. International Womens Day and the launching of the feminist magazine Hertha, FBF, and vernissage for My human rights-cards, sold by UN Women. Both a great success. In the middle the editor of Hertha and the president of Fredrika Bremer Förbundet.

Today back at the office, not quite as glamorous.

Now the magazine Hertha is at the printers, soon to be released. I made the new design of the magazine last year and now the new issue of 2011.

The illustration is made by the swedish illustrator Magnus Bard.

The oldest womens magazine in the world has celebrated its 150 years!

As its 20 years since the latest issue on paper I had free hands to create a new magazine. I made the graphic design and some of the illustrations. We had so much fun creating it and a fantastic releaseparty in the Swedish Royal Academies beautiful premises in the Old Town i Stockholm.

I am happy to announce that this fall I will design the magazine “Hertha” for Fredrika-Bremer-Förbundet. It´s the 150 year anniversary and the magazine was published until 1999.

This is an edition from 1935.

A new issue of the magazine BRIS is out now. As well as the graphic design I also made a couple of illustrations for this issue. This magazine turns to professionals working with children.
